DESCRIPTION:Our 2026 UKFD event will held in Pentre Ifan woodland and based at the\nEnvironmental and Well-being Centre by kind permission of the URDD.\nWalk leader: Adam Pollard-Powell\nThe event will be a woodland walk lasting approximately two hours.\nFollowing the walk we will have an opportunity to look at specimens and\ndiscuss the finds in a room provided by the URDD.\nPlease note that there will be no foraging and that any collections made\nwill be made in accordance with the British Mycological Society’s “Code\nof Conduct for Responsible Collection of Fungi for Research and\nEducational Purposes”.\nThe event will commence at 10.30 with light refreshments (pre-booking\nrequired).\nMeet at the URDD car park at SN09283808.\n(Canolfan yr Urdd\, Pentre Ifan\, Felindre Farchog\, Crymych SA41 3XE)\nThere is no charge for the event but numbers may be limited so places\nmust be reserved by contacting David Harries by email or text\n(djh.somerton@gmail.com\, 07950 841750). When booking please indicate if\nyou would like refreshments at the start (tea/coffee/cake). The PFRN\nwill cover the cost but donations will be very welcome.
