UK Fungus Day

Our 2026 UKFD event will held in Pentre Ifan woodland and based at the
Environmental and Well-being Centre by kind permission of the URDD.
Walk leader: Adam Pollard-Powell
The event will be a woodland walk lasting approximately two hours.
Following the walk we will have an opportunity to look at specimens and
discuss the finds in a room provided by the URDD.
Please note that there will be no foraging and that any collections made
will be made in accordance with the British Mycological Society’s “Code
of Conduct for Responsible Collection of Fungi for Research and
Educational Purposes”.
The event will commence at 10.30 with light refreshments (pre-booking
required).

There is no charge for the event but numbers may be limited so places
must be reserved by contacting David Harries by email or text
(djh.somerton@gmail.com, 07950 841750). When booking please indicate if
you would like refreshments at the start (tea/coffee/cake). The PFRN
will cover the cost but donations will be very welcome.
